#THECATKITCHEN RECIPES: ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS ON SKEWERS

· · Comments

I wonder if it's just me or I'm ceasing to feel the Christmas mood this season.
That is until I sat down at P.S. Cafe Petit in my hood and they played my favourite Christmas songs.
There. Goosebumps. Oh. It's finally christmas.
It's really hard to get into the Christmas mood in Singapore.
Guess it goes the same for any festive season here.
The mood dies down a little every year.
Then it occurred to me how extremely important traditions are and should never be skipped.
Fancy that coming from a very non-traditional person and almost a rebel in some way.
Traditions like culture, should never be watered down.
Despite all that, we can retain and inject any festive mood by gathering round our dinner table,
cooking up a feast and having great conversations.
I was eager to throw a Christmas party this year but sadly I won't be home this Christmas.
But for all of you who will be, I do have an amazingly simple dish for you to try out.
The kids will love it as much as the big kids.
